I am a pharmacist and am often asked questions about genital herpes. So, I have to discuss some information for you and for you info with your doctor.
But first ...
Did you know that just now received in the United States, for each school in federal funding for sex ed. -they need to teach a abstinence only program.
What? Our society, from school, at home, social and religious life has always been on education. We have always said that as a people-What we really needless education? No, this is totally against our beliefs as a community.
But instead, the government says: Keep these children in the dark, in places no ideas in mind, not educate, it is not too much and be safe Keep'em. Yeah, that's great and wonderful idea! So, I think the government believes less is more (unless taxes are concerned, of course!).
So, you're probably thinking is this would send about genital herpes or not speak? Well, I say no,because if you can learn more about herpes, you get into some trouble .... okay, I'm bluffing here goes ...
Herpes simplex virus, there are two different varieties. The first is HSV-1, causes genital usually causes cold sores and HSV-2, the herpes. It is possible to transfer a cold sore to the genital area and the transmission of genital herpes lips.
Genital herpes is a sexually transmittedDisease. About 22% of Americans have HSV-2. It is one of these sexually transmitted diseases that are spread through sexual contacts can (even without penetration) is. Condoms can help, but will not protect 100%. Very important to know is that a person with HSV-2 can be contagious even without apparent outbreak.
Just a quick point here ... I was at a Q & A page on the Internet and found a lot of questions about sexually transmitted diseases. They would talk about HSV2, as if it is the plague, but HSV1 as "just aCold sores. "The truth is, HSV 1 and 2 are not so different, unless you are" caught "having sex. As a society we can not about sex and sexually transmitted diseases to speak openly (see above rant about governmentt and Adult Ed.). Perhaps if we open (instead of talking to ignore them) about these taboo subjects we could make a real difference in STD transmission. Okay, I'm on my soapbox, let's go on ...
According to be infected, symptoms usually begin 2-14 days. The first infection is usually poor andcan last for 2 to 3 weeks. Usually there are pimples like bumps that turn into blisters are blisters that 90% of the respondents say, painful. Flu-like symptoms may also occur (such as fever, headache), limb pain. Virus excretion (which, if it is contagious) goes for about 12 days. Like most STDs, symptoms are often worse for women!
Once infected with the virus, it is there for life. The first year is about 10 cases in the general bad average. Thereafter, the average personis equipped with 4 outbreaks in a year. But some people are very few cases received throughout their lives. Some people have a "natural immunity" that can keep the virus under control. Stress, illness and certain other drugs can increase the risk of recurrence to.
The following cases are usually less painful, less severe and shorter. They take an average of 7 to 10 days and virus excretion (when it is most infectious) at about 2 to 5 days.
Treatment for an outbreak:
All treatments are prescription antiviral medications.
It is best to start treatment with 72 hours after onset of symptoms.
Treatment within 72 hours has been shown to reduce the length and severity of symptoms.
All of the following medications work just as well ... Decision on it use to be based on price and frequency of dosing.
First outbreak:
Valtrex (Valacyclovir) 1000 mg twice daily for 7-10 days
In only a brand (genericSuppose to be prepared for publication)
This is exactly the same as acyclovir, is easier than to dosing (twice daily compared to three to five times)
Available in a generic
Comes in a generic and 200 mg is currently on lists at some discount pharmacies
FollowingOutbreaks:
Zovirax (acyclovir) 800mg three times daily for 2 days or 400 mg three times daily for 3 to 5 days
Famvir (Famciclovir) 125 mg twice daily over 3 to 5 days
Valtrex (valacyclovir) 500 mg twice daily for 3 days
Prevention of outbreaks:
If a patient regularly outbreaks and they want to avoid them, antiviral medications can be taken daily.
Zovirax (acyclovir)400 mg twice daily
Famvir (Famciclovir) 250 mg twice daily
Valtrex (valacyclovir) 500 mg or 1000 mg once daily
Some studies have shown that OTC can daily lysine (500-1000mg) may be helpful.
This is very detailed information on the medication, but I thought it was important, I have patients who Valtrex and pay lots of money if they could take acyclovir and pay 1 / 10 the price. So, talk to your doctor about it!
It was the first time my granddaughter came to me and confided about her battle with oral and genital herpes and her self destructive thoughts.
ReplyDeleteA gaping vacuum of fear and love opened inside me. I knew what it felt like for her to be in such a situation. But after hearing how someone I loved so dearly struggled I have no option but to promise her help. I wanted to help in all possible ways. I sought counsels from an old and experienced nurse whom I've known to deal on natural herbs because I believed in nature. After hearing from me she smiled and before I could say another word she replied me there's cure but natural herbs. I don't care as long as my child is cured! I shouted. She told me about a doctor in Africa who has cured people of herpes. She gave me his email drutuherbalcure@gmail.com ,I contacted him immediately and then ordered medicine for my child which he sent through the UPS courier to me. My daughter started medication and the next day her mouth sores were physically healing and she told me it's working and within four weeks she testified to me that she was cured! I've always believed that nature has cure for any diseases and I'm happy to tell everyone my child is cured.
Six months later we went for another test to be sure and here is the result,
Six months after medications;
Her hsv1&2 test results;
Igm - 1.49

She don't have any symptoms again and has moved on happily and is now in a serious relationship with her fiancee
